Below are some of the most commonly asked questions I hear from clients. If you have any questions not addressed below, let me know.

Paper, Printing & Envelopes

WHAT KIND OF PAPER DO YOU USE?

Every job is different, but I tend to use heavy weight cover stock – sometimes it has a textured finished and sometimes a smooth, soft finish. It depends on the job. You can let me know which you prefer.

WHAT IS YOUR PRINTING METHOD?

I use an Epson R3000 for all my print work. I do all printing in-house, except for work with pictures and dark backgrounds with light-colored text. So for birth announcements and save the dates with pictures, I use an outside printer. This is the printer I used for the birth announcement for my son. Their quality is impeccable, and I have never been disappointed with their work.

CAN I PICK MY OWN INK COLOR?

Sure! Check out my color guide to see what is available. Occasionally, a client will want a color that might not work with the paper they want. If this happens, I will discuss it with you, and we will come up with a solution you are happy with.

DO YOUR INVITATIONS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS COME WITH ENVELOPES?

Yep. If something you are ordering needs to be mailed, I will include envelopes. White envelopes are standard, but I can provide colored envelopes for a fee.

DO YOU CREATE COORDINATING ITEMS FOR WEDDINGS AND PARTIES?

Of course! I love helping brides & grooms develop a coordinated set of paper goods for their big day. Here is a list of some of the coordinating items I have printed for weddings in the past: menus, programs, welcome letter/packet, stickers, escort cards, favor table signs, favor tags, bar signs, table number, labels and thank you cards.

And for other celebrations like baby showers, bridal showers, engagement parties, dinner parties, birthday parties, etc, I have created things like: gift tags, stickers, coasters, menus, recipe cards, questionnaires, labels and thank you cards.

HOW LONG DOES EVERYTHING TAKE?

If you want work that uses an existing design, I will get you a proof within two business days of receiving your deposit and information.

If you want custom work, once I get your deposit and questionnaire, I will get you a proof within four business days.

From there, the timing depends on how quickly you get back to me with edits. Once your design(s) have been approved, and I have your final payment, I start printing right away. You can expect your work to ship five to eight business days after I receive your final payment. Printing time varies depending on how many items I am printing.

Payment, returns & shipping

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

I accept Paypal. If you have another form of payment in mind, get in touch to discuss.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

It is important to check your proof for accuracy. Once your design has been approved, I do not offer refunds. Please please please triple check the proof before giving final approval.

If there is something wrong with your order, let me know ASAP, and I will do my best to make it right.

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

That stinks you need to cancel your order! Unfortunately payments are non-refundable. For custom orders, if you need to cancel your order before it is printed, I will retain the deposit. If you need to cancel the order after it has been printed, unfortunately, the entire payment is forfeited. Get in touch about cancellations so we can discuss.

HOW IS MY ORDER SHIPPED?

I ship all orders USPS Priority Mail, which has a general shipping time of 2-4 days. I will provide you with a tracking number once the order is on its way. If you need something shipped quicker, let me know.

USPS Express Mail generally arrives in 1-2 days. And if you need delivery confirmation or other specific shipping needs, let me know that as well. Express shipping and other shipping needs will result in a higher shipping cost. All items are shipped flat and unassembled. If you would like your items assembled, there is an additional fee you can pay. Get in touch for more information about assembly.
